Samaritan Select provides local, statewide, national and international coverage to meet all your health care needs, either at home or away.

When You Travel Within The U.S.

Samaritan Select’s National Access Program will provide the safety and security you need when you are traveling within the U.S. Please carry your Samaritan Select member ID and the enclosed National Access Program card with you at all times and follow these instructions:

IN AN EMERGENCY - go directly to the nearest hospital. Call Samaritan Select if you are admitted. The contact information is provided on your Samaritan Select member ID card.
To find names and addresses of nearby doctors and hospitals, visit http://providers.nhbc.com or call 888-621-7900. This contact information is also provided on your National Access Program card.
When you arrive at the participating doctor’s office or hospital, simply present your Samaritan Select and National Access Program cards.
As a National Access Program member, you will receive a discounted rate for services.

When You Travel Outside The U.S.

Your participating provider network outside the U.S. is MD Abroad. Their logo is on the back of your Samaritan Select ID card for easy reference. Please carry your Samaritan Select member ID card with you at all times and follow these instructions:

Working And Living Outside Of Service Area (for more than three months)

We will assist you in finding and establishing a Medical Home when you are away from home for three months or more, either in the U.S. or elsewhere. Please contact Samaritan Select.
