Tobacco Cessation Benefit

Samaritan Select offers its members several options in tobacco cessation programs.

Local programs, FreshStart and Quitting Tobacco for Life, are available through Samaritan Health Services.

Also available to Samaritan Select members is the "Quit for Life" program through Free & Clear, the national leader in telephone-based tobacco dependence treatment. Program benefits include:

• One-on-one phone-based sessions scheduled at your convenience;
• Unlimited toll-free telephone access to a quit coach while you are in the program;
• Recommendations for medications like the nicotine patch, gum or bupropion;
• Delivery of recommended nicotine replacement products (such as the patch, gum, or lozenge);
• Printed Quit Guides designed to help you stay on track between calls with your quit coach.
